THE GOATS
Meet my goats. My small herd of 5 that I have adopted from the dairy farm where I had been a milkmaid until September '22.
They are a bunch of very different personalities to both my delight and despair. Hardly a day goes by when at least one of them comes up with some nonsense. They are a bit like toddlers - curious, playful and funny, but they also constantly test both their limits and mine. Goats are very social animals and they follow me everywhere - unless that's what I want them to do - then it's almost guaranteed that at least one will wander off.
They make me smile and laugh just as easily as they make me swear. But I knew what I was getting myself into and haven't regretted a single minute... well maybe one or two when they had been particularly naughty like the day they dragged me for a hundred meters along a dirt road. But all in all, it's incredibly nice and rewarding for me to have them around me and I love them very much - not least because I don't know how not to 🙂
HAPPY
adventurous, playful, tough and a bit cheeky - Happy is Snuppa's daughter and the youngest in the herd.
SNUPPA - means Sweety
cuddly, tough, strong-willed and sweet. Happy's mother and very fond of people.
gives about halv a liter milk a day
PIPPI
kind, calm, patient and has an insatiable appetite. She is the boss of the herd.

JUNIPER
perceptive, attentive, skeptical and cautious. Although Pippi is the boss, it is Juniper who mainly goes ahead and finds treats in the pasture. I think she is in charge of navigation.
GULLA - means Goldie
cuddly, easily frightened, and pretty. She is an angel among people and a bully among goats.
